Join us for a relaxed, nature-filled morning of mixed-age, child-led play.
Please note the location for this event has changed due to heavy rain forecast - tomorrow’s Wild Summer Days will gather at Broadfield Community Centre. We play rain or shine - some of our activities will still be set up outdoors, inviting puddle-jumping, splash-making and wet-weather exploring. Please bring warm layers, jackets and gumboots if you have them, so everyone can lean into the elements comfortably
You’re welcome to BYO reusable cups for you and the kids if you’d like to make a hot drink - we’ll have coffee, tea, and hot chocolates ready to help little (and big) hands warm up after time in the rain.**
This pop-up summer session is all about giving tamariki the time, space, and freedom to explore, create, and connect in the great outdoors this summer.
We'll have eels to feed, trees and streams to explore, arts and crafts, our discovery mud kitchen, seeds to plant & take home, loose parts for imaginative play, and a calm space set up for our littlest explorers. With plenty of space for exploration, this is a shared stay-and-play experience for children and their grown-ups.
$20 per child.
Under 1's free when attending with a paying sibling.
(*Suggested for ages 0–12 however all tamariki are welcome to join!)
Registration instructions:
1. Register one child at a time. Click ‘Register now,’ and complete the child registration details form that pops up. The child’s registration fees will then be added to your cart.
2. Repeat step 1 for any additional children and babies.
3. Go to cart & checkout to add parent/caregiver details & complete payment.
